- Ana Cavalcanti is a Brazilian ceramist who has lived in the United States since 1988. She earned an M.A. in Art Education from the University of Illinois, where most of her work focused on ceramics and photography. When she moved to Washington, D.C. area in 1992, she joined the pottery studio at Glen Echo Park where she is a member. Ana Cavalcanti is also a member of Strathmore Arts Center and Montgomery Potters. Presently she works at her home studio in Bethesda, MD.
